Cycling to school, worthy of social services?

I couldn't believe this article. In an age of obesity and children scared to leave their parents for a minute it's absurd.

How else are children meant to learn independence? This couple have been vilified for no reason.

    Hah yes...I heard about this. Shame that the story is on the DM website...take a look at their 'best rated' comments...so typical their readership!

    I know! You could argue the children are too young, but surely it should be the parents' decision? Even if the children are going very slowly I reckon that journey's 10 minutes max. They ride on the pavement and there's a lollipop lady on the one road crossing.
